888 Casino (also known as "Casino On Net"), owned by a publicly traded company 888 Holdings Public Limited Company (888.L), has recently run into important problems when the findings of unethical marketing techniques have been exposed to industry insiders, marketers and webmasters.
Those findings show that 888 Casino is deliberately engaged in web spamming, such as heavy blog spamming, messageboards / forums / chats spamming, as well as condoning content stealing & scrapping, operated by some of their nearest affiliates, in order to potentially inundate the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) with web results - for all sort of queries - simply redirecting to 888 Casino website. The content is acquired by robots (web bots) scanning the web, particularly online casino portals such as this one, and then thousands of web pages are randomly created with snippets of words, phrases, titles and more from existing web pages. The result, is hundreds of search results for 888 Casino that have nothing to do with the user's queries (so that's spamming also), and potential destruction of those casino portals, due to duplicate issues.
